WIC Learning Online is a series of online courses designed to train all levels of staff working in the WIC program. Select WIC Learning Online courses are approved for CPEUs by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and CERPs by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. This continuing education activity was approved by the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

A series of 6 online lessons designed to train all levels of staff working in the WIC program and a joint project of the USDA/Food and Nutrition Service, NAL/Food and Nutrition Information Center, and the University of Maryland. Topics include: Communicating with Participants, Counseling Skills, Outreach, Health and Nutrition, Infant Feeding, and VENA. This course is approved for CPE credits by the American Dietetic Association, as well as contact hours by the Maryland Nurses Association, which is accredited as an approver for continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
