Environmental Testing and Surveillance of Legionella

Legionella bacteria can become a health concern when they grow and spread in human-made building water systems. In this webinar we will discuss the ways Legionella bacteria can spread in the environment. We will highlight how environmental testing combined with whole genome sequencing can be used to reduce healthcare acquired Legionella infections.

Intended Audience

Intermediate Experience Needed. Refresher course; some basic knowledge required; for the experienced staff, local health officials, laboratorians, infection prevention, health care facilities technologist with some years of experience.

Learning Objectives
